I always knew I’d be an artist, I just didn’t know what kind of artist I would be until I found photography.
I have been creating images my entire life. Capturing those moments to see the joy on people’s faces is what makes me happy. I went to music school and studied jazz with a composite major in the principle instrument of the saxophone. When I photographed my first couple in 2013 I immediately knew then and there that I had finally found what I was meant to pursue. In late 2014 I photographed my first wedding, and in 2016 I turned my passion into a full-time career.
I am an energetic and enthusiastic person with a dedication to bring a sense of elegance and beauty whenever I pick up my camera. The great honour it gives me to photograph you or your wedding always leaves me with the biggest smile on my face, (my photography assistant can attest to that, I’m always grinning ear to ear behind the camera!) It is something that drives me to be better each and every time. To laugh, cry, and share embarrassing moments with me by your side, I love to bring those memories to life so that you can remember them for years to come. I love to work in a casual and composed way, always ready to capture the days events as they unfold. Naturally I am always there to assist when needed with some direction here and there for the portraits and the more formal parts of the wedding day, but I always try to have fun and I hope you do too.
Outside of photography I love to hike, hang out with my dogs, bake and watch all kinds of films, documentary, comedy, drama you name it.
Contact me today, I’d love to hear all about your wedding or portrait session. I live in Edmonton, Alberta and am available worldwide for work.
