Lauren + Marcus

It’s official in-home session are my new favourite thing!! I’ve been wanting to do this type of shoot for awhile now and it came along so perfectly that it just happened to be Lauren and Marcus’ one year anniversary! Congrats to the both of you, and thank you Lauren and Marcus for letting me into your lives for a few hours to take these images for you.

I love being able to capture those photographic journalism moments, the candid ones. I feel as though they are more intimate than posed photographs, a fly on the wall approach.

We finished off the session on a wonderful snowy day in the Edmonton river valley, it was light as it fell down onto the ground and landed beautifully in their hair. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple in love to spend this picture perfect day with!

Marcus unfortunately got a little cold while we were outside and Lauren told me that huddling under the blanket was Marcus’ favourite part.

These two were just the cutest! Happy one year you guys!!
