I

I’m so pleased to share yet another gorgeous couple and wedding on my blog today! Meet Diane + Eric, some incredibly sweet people I had the pleasure of meeting a little over a year ago. Diane + Eric are oh so sweet because they too were one of the first couples to book me fore wedding photography, when I have almost nothing to show in my portfolio but perhaps one wedding? Kinda crazy huh! I look back at that and I look at all I’ve done since then and it’s couple like Diane + Eric who place their complete trust in someone like me to capture their big day that has allowed me to grow my skills and my business to a place where I no longer have just one wedding under my belt.

You may remember Diane + Eric from their engagement session with their adorable little dog, you can refresh your memory here if any of you forgot, I almost wish they could have brought their little dog to the wedding! We started off the day with Diane + Eric’s first look in a perfect spot picked out by the two of them, at this time of year I love the Edmonton skyline as a backdrop and this sport was amazing. I didn’t know about it prior so after this wedding I’m certainly adding it to my list of amazing locations.

Diane wore one of the most elegant wedding dress’ I’ve ever seen and I completely forgot that Eric was going to wear his fireman’s uniform which brought a huge smile to my face because with a winter wedding, when everything is white, that pop of red was just perfect! Even better they brought along a firetruck for us to take some more photographs in front off, yeah guys a firetruck! Awesome!!

We followed up with some more images at the Mercer Tavern, and finally at the Ellerslie Rugby Club for their ceremony and reception. One of the most touching moments of the day was when Diane started down the isle and she just started to cry, I love when real emotions come out of such a special day it makes me feel truly honoured to capture that for such an amazing couple like Diane + Eric.

I could keep going on and on about all the amazing details and how wonderful everyone was at this wedding but I’d rather you get to what you really came here for and that the images! So enjoy!!
