Alexandria and Quentin’s Alberta Family Farm Wedding

Preparation at private residences.

The ceremony, portraits, and reception on private farmland and Alexandria’s family farm.

The Wedding Day

Alex and Quentin’s family farm wedding was so touching on so many levels. Both Alexandria and Quentin’s family were so invested in making this special day happen. Hosting the wedding on Alex’s family farm was the perfect setting for these two both feeling close to home and comfortable for these two was very important. The day certainly had it’s up’s and down’s with the weather, but that didn’t stop us! There was an almost close call during the ceremony, it certainly rained on us the whole time. The groomsmen held umbrellas for the couple and it was all giggles right until the end when they almost called it to head indoors but true to Alexandria and Quentin all their guests yelled to continue the nuptials, it was a happy moment that certainly made me laugh out loud from behind my camera.
Of course, the rain did stop soon after and we continued the day with Alex’s parent’s barn being completely transformed into a truly stunning space, twinkle lights and sheer fabric hung from the ceiling and a wood pallet backdrop for the head table was adorned with sunflowers. The day was a beautiful and touching moment bringing two people’s families together who very clearly all cared for and loved each other. Thank you Alexandria and Quentin and your respected families for letting me capture all your happy, sad tears, smiles and all! It was an honour to be your photographer!
