Kaylie & Chase’s Moraine Lake Adventure Session

OH my goodness I’m so SO excited to share with you all Kaylie & Chase’s Moraine Lake Adventure Session. Kaylie and Chase came up all the way from California. They were here on a family trip and I stole them for a good (several hours). But honestly I think that’s such an amazing way to remember a vacation! Do a little bit of research before you go anywhere and hire a local photographer to capture you and your loved ones in a scene that isn’t familiar to you. I think that is such a cool keepsake to take home!

Of course because they’ve never been to Canada before I knew I had to kick it up a notch, so we did the extra drive up to Moraine Lake. The drive up is slightly under whelming and can feel long. I know Chase asked a few times, “how much longer” but I promised them it be worth it. And Moraine Lake that day did not disappoint! We we’re lucky as we we’re there in late fall just a few weeks before they close the road up there, so it wasn’t too busy with people. I know they loved seeing the bright blue turquoise water, and just a little bit of snow on the mountain peeks. Ah so dreamy!

It was cold, they braved it, it snowed they embraced it. Afterwards I took them on a little sight seeing tour of Banff and we really had a blast all day! Finally I had to end the day off and took them to the famous Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel. Where we had a snack and a drink. I guess I was not only a photographer this day but a tour guide as well! I Loved sharing Canada with them, Kaylie and Chase I hope you come back!
