Snowy Edmonton Portrait Session

Linda is a kind soul, she’s a musician and composer. After meeting Linda and discussing her photography needs it became clear that we wanted our session to be a little bit of everything! A little bit of an urban vibe, some nature as well. There’s no rule that says we can’t have multiple styles for a shoot. So after we had our vision I, of course, was immediately on board. You all know how much I love photographing musicians!

There’s something about that winter light that is just a little more golden than summertime. Maybe it’s the contrast against the white snow, the reflection. Either way, it’s beautiful. You can never go wrong with shooting at the golden hour. On the plus side during the winter months, I don’t have to wait until 10 pm to start shooting. We can start much earlier, like 3 pm! So I can actually get home earlier and have a not rushed dinner! I’m very happy with the way all of these turned out and Linda was equally happy, we had gorgeous weather and gorgeous light for our session. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
