Summer River Valley Engagement

Welcome back everyone, I’m happy you’re here to check out this beautiful summer river valley engagement session with Cara and Taylor! It is always a treat for me personally when I know either the bride or groom. Outside of planning their wedding of course. I have known Cara for a long time now, having met her years ago, through our mutual friend Shawna.

If you’re at all familiar with the connections I have to Shawna, who owns Empire salon. Then you know I don’t shut about how great the girls are that work there. And well, Cara, is absolutely no exception to that rule. So you now know what Cara does and how I met her. I was so ecstatic when she told me she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. I love her and Taylor together, they are such a charming couple to be around. Despite all the hiccups we’ve had with their wedding date so far (due to Covid-19) I know that it will come together.

Originally, Cara and Taylor, we’re supposed to get married this past May! But we’ll the world had other plans. They’ve since re-booked for November of this year and I have high hopes that their perfect day will come. As one Covid affected bride to another I say, go for it! Postpone that date if you truly feel in your gut it’s the right thing to do. We all wait a long time and spend months, years, planning the day you should get to do it your way. The right way to you. Not everybody wants to postpone and not everybody wants to have a small or local wedding and that’s okay. Again, you have to do what’s right for you!

I know Cara and Taylor are happy they’ve postponed, I can’t wait to join them in Mexico come November!
