The Wedding Day

Sydney & Colin’s Cielo’s Garden wedding is coming at you all the way from the Manitoba countryside. What an absolute pleasure it was to photograph this day that is near and dear to my heart! I’ve known Sydney my whole life! Her mother and my mum go way back to their university days, both we’re each other maid of honours. I think it’s amazing that we were able to come full circle, it was a true honour to capture Sydney marrying the love of her life, Colin.

Now let’s talk about this wedding a little! Starting with this beautiful little venue, perfectly nestled in the trees. A perfect backdrop for these two to say I do! Sydney told me it was her dream wedding venue and once I saw it with my own two eyes I couldn’t agree more. Truly an all in one venue, we didn’t leave the property once! And that’s so great for the bridal party, guests, and well… everybody! (myself included).

Sydney and Colin did a private first look in the stone chapel on the property, her nanny officiated the ceremony, and there was even a selfie with Sydney’s dad, Rob, at the top of the aisle. It was so hard for me to narrow down the pictures to share in this blog post. So many great moments happened during the reception, such as MULTIPLE cheek kisses to Sydney’s father. Colin celebrated his birthday! A very hilarious pre-teen video of Sydney lip-syncing, and lots and lots of dancing.

Thank you both Sydney and Colin for having me apart of your wedding day in the most special way, having me document it. I love you both! And my aunt Robin.
